Responsibilities:
- Build and maintain strong client relationships, providing a top-tier customer experience.
- Conduct client meetings to understand credit needs and financial objectives.
- Deliver tailored mortgage advice for both residential and commercial loan applications.
- Research and analyze lender policies to offer effective solutions.
- Perform serviceability assessments with lenders, ensuring best-fit loan options.
- Maintain and update customer data accurately.
- Coordinate valuations and manage pricing requests.
- Review loan files, verifying that all required documentation is accurate and complete before submission to underwriting.
- Collaborate with lenders throughout the loan assessment process.
- Prepare and package loan applications from lead through to settlement.
- Ensure strict adherence to compliance procedures.
- Conduct follow-ups post-settlement to maintain client satisfaction.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience as a qualified mortgage broker.
- Proven ability to manage the loan application process from initial lead to final settlement.
- Strong interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with internal and external stakeholders.
- Diploma in Financial Services/Mortgage Broking Management.
- Membership with MFAA or FBAA is highly preferred.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft 365, CRM/database systems – Broker Engine experience a +, and loan lodgement software.
- Ability to excel in a high-volume, fast-paced setting.
- Keen attention to detail and accuracy.
- Positive, “Can Do” attitude.
